The 5 Relationship Statuses You Can Have With Your Payment Provider

Oh, Valentine’s Day. For some, it is a love-filled day of chocolate and wine. Others simply enjoy spending time with their significant others, and the rest just treat it as a regular Wednesday.

No matter your relationship status on Valentine’s Day, let’s be honest. The one that matters most to your business is the one you have with your payment provider.

Here at Bambora, we love you. Without you, there would be no us. Sure we might mess up sometimes, and we haven’t updated our appearance in a while but nobody is perfect. Except you, of course.

So for those that are unsure of what your current relationship status is with your payment provider, we are here to help! Let us help you navigate the tricky waters of love and payments.

Single and Ready To Mingle

You are either new to the payments game, or you just got out of a previous relationship. Either way, you are doe-eyed and excited to meet new providers.

While there is no Tinder or EHarmony for providers, you have been able to review their profiles online and may have even given a few your phone number or email address.

Just be sure when you find the one, that they aren’t playing you. Sure they say they are flexible, but maybe they are proposing a three year commitment. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Courting

Things are heating up. You have possibly signed up for a test account, and are waiting for them to wow you.

Sure their sweet code, their careless attitude, and sleek appearance are great right now. But will it last? Are you ready to commit?

Fully Committed

You did it! You picked the one. You have signed up for an account, and have integrated them into your business. You may be in the honeymoon phase, or it may be that you have been with them for a few years.

Either way, you are processing payments, and things are going great. They even surprise you with new features every once in awhile.

It’s Complicated

Yikes. Things aren’t going so smoothly. You have had one, or multiple issues with them. Are they refusing to pick up the phone and call you back? They can’t seem to get their act together. You’re beginning to think that the grass looks a lot greener on the other side.

Maybe they keep making you pick up the hidden fees tab, or maybe you can’t even seem to be able to reach them when you need help the most.

Things aren’t looking too good.

Breaking Up

The straw finally broke the camel’s back, and you have decided to leave them. Good, you deserve better!

You are now a bit wiser to your needs. Before you find a rebound, make sure to make a list of what you did and did not like about your last provider. It will make it easier to find the right one next time.

Just remember you are strong, and you can get through this.
